We first met Steven and his TC at the Word of Wheels Auto show. We covered him at the show but felt like it just didn’t do the car or him justice so we came back and shot him again in his hometown of Douglas GA. Although not a performance heavy vehicle like a lot of the other cars we’ve covered, Stevens’s car represents a clean execution of a daily driven show quality car. Clean lines, well executed sound system, and tasteful accessories make this a top notch car that does not scream but merely announces with dignity was it is.

It’s rare to see a perfect iteration of a Fairlady these days, a car that started the Japanese sports car revolution in America. But that’s just what we ere in store for when we headed up to Winder to cover Greg and his pristine 72 Fairlady Z. And a fair lady she is. Greg has painstakingly gone thru the car to transform the 240 into one of the purest Fairlady’s this side of the rising sun. Form the Sapporo beer cover on the starter to the rare side view mirrors all the way to the Japanese door chime, this car is a rolling piece of history. Respect the classics!

Sometimes the phrase treasure in your own back yard is a literal translation. The El Camino in this feature is owned by Ron my next door neighbor. He usually kept it covered but on one happenstance he had it out and that’s when I discover I lived right next to another car guy. See it does pay to know your neighbors. The car didn’t disappoint either, equipped with a turboV6 out of his former Buick grand national this thing hauls. Pretty nice for a car that was a hand me down.

It’s rare to see a nicely modified K-car. Even more of a rarity to see a VIP themed K-car, which is already an oxymoron, where we did in Atlanta GA. But that’s just what we found in Zeus’s immaculate VIP Scion Xa. Wonderfully clad in a Fabulous body kit, Work Euroline wheels, burgundy paint, its got the look down. And with a true air ride suspension he’s always got the low down no matter what the circumstances.
